INTRODUCTION Through this training course, a service technician will be able to acquire the knowledge and know-how needed for diagnosing and resolving specific issues covered for this specific model, the FMTL39813, and its applicable versions. For each field issue presented in this course, the main cause for the issue is given (also found in bold print at the top), the version(s) it applies to, its symptom(s), and the solution for the issue. Keep in mind that some of these issues and/or procedures may apply to other FreeMotion models as well. (Topics and subdivision of them) The topics that will be covered in the product training for the FMTL39813 are: Incline Motor Replacement, Idler Support Post Clearance, Disconnected/Defective Dump Resistor, Lack of Lift Frame Grease, Replacing the Walking Belt and Walking Platform, and Using Olympus Board LEDís. Due to the length in content, the sections for this training have been split apart into two separate sub courses: Part I and Part II. In this subcourse, Part I, the following topics will be covered: Incline Motor Replacement Idler Support Post Clearance Disconnected/Defective Dump Resistor Please keep in mind that to be fully certified to perform field work on this model, the FMTL39813, both parts of this course must be successfully completed, that is, both tests must be passed.
